Job Description

We are GaltTec. We are building the energy source that will unlock the true potential of the drone industry: a novel, high-performance microtubular fuel cell. This is a greenfield opportunity to build a department from scratch. You will be the technical authority on computational engineering, acting as the right hand to our Head of R&D and a strategic partner to the CEO.

You will have the mandate to: Build the Digital Twins, Cut the Feedback Loop, and Define the Future. This role is designed for a builder who aspires to executive leadership. Success leads to a clear path toward high-level strategic ownership (VP of Digital Engineering).

Your tasks include hands-on engineering (select toolchain, build multi-physics models, validate with experiments) and strategic architecture (transform R&D workflow, build your team, evangelize digitalization). You will personally select the toolchain and build initial multi-physics models for fuel cells covering electrochemistry, fluid dynamics, and thermal management.

Your qualifications: Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in ME, ChemE, Physics, or Materials Science. 5+ years of deep experience in multi-physics simulation. Systems thinker, frustrated by slowness, natural teacher. You understand governing equations of mass transport and kinetics, and you code (Python/Matlab).

Why join: You're building the power source for the future of mobility. You own the "How." You will join at a pivotal moment as we scale. Flat, fast-moving team that values intellectual honesty and results.
