  • "Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years.

About the Role

As a Harness & Cabling Technician for Infinite Orbits' satellite missions, you will perform critical cabling operations on spacecraft and Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). Working in a cleanroom environment, you will ensure high-precision integration and compliance with stringent space industry standards, ensuring full traceability and supporting both electrical and mechanical assembly phases to guarantee mission success.

Job Description

  • Execute connection and disconnection operations for both flight hardware and ground support equipment.

  • Perform precise wiring and connections of sensors and components, including thermistors and heaters.

  • Manage harness routing and installation according to layout specifications and 3D models.

  • Conduct modifications and repairs on flight and ground harnesses in compliance with quality standards and company processes.

  • Coordinate the setup and de-setup of electrical test benches and GSE interfaces.

  • Demonstrate mechanical versatility by supporting mechanical integration, specialized bonding, and MLI (Multi-Layer Insulation) installation.

  • Proactively identify and propose improvements for assembly procedures and operational processes.

  • Prepare work activities by ensuring the availability of calibrated tools, flight hardware, and applicable documentation (technical instructions, process procedures).

  • Maintain real-time technical documentation and manufacturing logs to ensure 100% traceability of operations.

  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workstation (5S) and strictly adhere to cleanroom protocols.

  • Train team mates on harness & cabling know-how to develop cross-functional skills.

Requirements

  • Technical degree or certification in Electrical Systems, Aerospace Integration, Mechatronics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in high-reliability cabling or harness integration, ideally within the aerospace sector.

  • Hands-on experience with specialized aerospace tools (crimping, soldering, heat-shrinking, etc.).

  • Familiarity with the space environment constraints and cleanroom (ISO 8) working standards.

  • High degree of manual dexterity, precision, and a "right-first-time" mindset when handling sensitive flight hardware.

  • Strong sense of rigor regarding documentation, quality control, and procedural compliance.

  • Flexibility to work in shifts (when required) to support critical mission milestones.

  • Professional proficiency in French and English for technical documentation and team collaboration.
