About the Role

We are looking for an exceptionally driven and talented commercial professional with a track record of executing major government and defence contracts to lead our commercial execution efforts for public sector clients – primarily defence and space applications. This is a newly created role that will report directly to the Managing Director.

Your mission: Drive sales execution across all public sector channels (government procurement, defence primes & integrators, space operators), establish new partnerships with strategic integrators and resellers, and build a team that turns our world-class technology and compelling value propositions into contracts that matter. You will own the full commercial lifecycle from opportunity identification through negotiation and delivery. You will be the external face of our commercial ambitions and will build credibility, networks and trust with the most demanding customers in government and defence.

Your background

You have 12+ years commercial / contract management experience, with a minimum of 5+ years having sold to public sector clients (government procurement, defence, space agencies). You have verifiable track record of driving significant revenues and profitable growth.

You possess:

  • A demonstrable track record with government/defence/space customers (ideally involving complex, long-sales-cycle opportunities)

  • P&L responsibility and understanding of metrics that matter

  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments – comfortable navigating red tape, RFPs, compliance requirements, and government procurement processes

  • Genuine subject matter expertise or learning agility related to space, satellites, space traffic management, space surveillance, or space operations

  • Strong executive presence and credibility with C-suite customers

  • Experience building and scaling commercial teams and a coaching mentality

  • A bias towards action, urgency, and accountability. You take ownership and get things done.

  • Comfort with early-stage scale-up dynamics where you need to pitch in across areas – you are not precious about your title

  • A demonstrable commitment to operating with integrity, honesty and precision in complex environments

  • Fluency in English and ideally Polish (or willingness to learn)

You are NOT:

  • A generic B2B SaaS salesperson generically selling to 'government' – you have genuine expertise in defence/space procurement and understand the buyer psychology and processes

  • Uncomfortable with technical complexity or the nuances of space domain

  • Someone who needs a large internal support system – you work autonomously and take ownership across functions
