Deep Learning Engineer

At Sybilla Technologies, we leverage advanced machine learning and deep learning to transform raw space surveillance data into actionable intelligence. We're looking for a Deep Learning Engineer to help us build and optimize neural networks that power our space operations and satellite tracking systems.

The Role

As Deep Learning Engineer, you'll:

  • Design and implement deep learning models for space surveillance and tracking applications

  • Optimize models for performance, accuracy, and computational efficiency

  • Work with large datasets to train and validate machine learning systems

  • Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate models into production systems

  • Develop data pipelines and preprocessing workflows

  • Contribute to model evaluation, testing, and continuous improvement

  • Stay current with deep learning research and emerging techniques

  • Document code and models for maintainability and reproducibility

Your Background

You bring 3-5 years of deep learning and machine learning experience, with:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)

  • Experience designing and training neural networks

  • Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals and deep learning concepts

  • Experience with computer vision or sequence modeling (NLP)

  • Familiarity with model optimization and deployment considerations

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work with large datasets and distributed systems

Nice to have:

  • Experience with space, satellite, or aerospace data

  • Background in signal processing or image processing

  • Knowledge of model serving and inference optimization

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

  • Contributions to open-source deep learning projects

  • Understanding of computer vision applications
