At Sybilla Technologies, we're building critical space surveillance and traffic management systems used by governments and commercial space operators. Our infrastructure is the backbone that keeps our team productive and our systems secure. We're looking for an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure that supports our mission-critical work.

The Role

As Senior IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator, you'll:

• Design and implement scalable IT infrastructure architecture

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

• Oversee server administration, network management, and system security

• Lead IT security initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards

• Mentor junior IT staff and establish best practices

• Manage vendor relationships and IT budget allocation

• Monitor infrastructure performance and manage capacity planning

• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies

Your Background

You bring 8+ years of IT infrastructure and systems administration experience, with:

• Expertise in cloud platform management (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with infrastructure as code experience

• Strong background in server administration (Windows and Linux)

• Deep knowledge of networking, firewalls, and security protocols

• Experience with IT security frameworks and compliance standards

• Leadership experience mentoring IT teams

• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

• Strategic mindset with focus on scalability, security, and cost optimization

Nice to have:

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• IT security certifications (CISSP, Security+, or equivalent)

• Experience in defence, space, or mission-critical software environments

• Background with data governance and compliance requirements
