At Sybilla Technologies, we build space surveillance and traffic management software used by governments and commercial space operators to keep satellites safe and space accessible to all. If you're the type of quality advocate who cares deeply about system reliability – and you want to work on problems that genuinely matter to national security and space safety – this role is for you.

The Role

We're looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented quality assurance engineer to ensure our products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. You'll be responsible for:

  • Manual testing of complex software systems with a focus on space operations and satellite tracking

  • Creating and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases

  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs with exceptional clarity and precision

  • Collaborating closely with developers to understand system architecture and verify fixes

  • Continuous monitoring for edge cases and potential failure scenarios

  • Contributing to test automation discussions and documentation

Your Background

You have 3-5 years of manual software QA experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating:

  • Expertise in manual testing of complex, mission-critical systems

  • Proven ability to design thorough test cases and execute with precision

  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies

  • Experience with test case management tools and bug tracking systems

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

  • A mindset where quality is not negotiable – you take ownership and pride in your work

Nice to have:

  • Experience testing space-related or satellite systems

  • Familiarity with mission-critical or defence-adjacent software

  • Knowledge of Python or other programming languages (though coding expertise is not required)

  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary (€35k - €50k based on experience)

  • Fully flexible, remote-first role

  • Opportunity to ensure safety and reliability of systems used in space operations

  • A supportive, technically-focused team that values precision and excellence

  • Chance to grow your expertise in space technology and mission-critical software
