VN- 0001 Production Technician

Active Space Technologies is hiring a Production Technician for its Mechanical Machining Workshop in Coimbra. The role supports engineering teams in day-to-day production activities for the space industry.

Duties and responsibilities

• Take delivery of raw materials, components and compliance reports

• Manage inventory documentation in PHC

• Create production orders by project

• Allocate material to project stock

• Identify the need to purchase consumables

• Support integration teams with production and assembly of structures and packaging

Minimum requirements

• 12th grade or university degree

• Technical training in a relevant area is valued

• Solid knowledge of programming and operating CNC machines for metal component manufacturing

• Ability to analyze technical drawings, dimensions and tolerances

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly or similar production functions in industrial mechanics is preferred

• Knowledge of dimensional control

• Aerospace, aeronautics or automotive industry experience is valued

• Responsibility, autonomy, problem solving, communication skills, proactivity and team spirit

• Excel and ERP experience are valued; PHC preferred

• English preferred

• Availability immediate to 2 months
