Job Description

We're currently looking for an experienced Project Manager who's not afraid of complex technical challenges.

What will you be working on?

Your main goal will be to guide space projects through every stage – from initial planning to final delivery – and make sure everything runs smoothly along the way.

In practice, this means:

  • Kick-off phase and planning: You'll take over the project from the Business Development team, review the technical scope and create a detailed project plan – breaking the work into tasks, estimating time and effort, building the schedule, and preparing a project budget.

  • Execution & coordination: You'll lead regular meetings, assign action items, track progress and update documentation. You´ll work closely with the assigned project team (system engineer, mechanical engineer, structural analyst, software engineer etc.) and coordinate external partners to keep things on track.

  • Managing change: Requirements can shift over time. You'll help the team navigate unclear inputs, changing use cases, and evolving priorities – while protecting the schedule and scope.

What makes space projects different?

Working in the space industry comes with its own unique set of challenges:

  • Long timelines – projects can take several months or years and must be carefully phased and managed.

  • Evolving requirements – it's common for the initial scope to be incomplete or change during development.

  • High complexity – you'll deal with multidisciplinary systems (mechanical, electronics, software), strict standards, and a lot of documentation.

  • No room for error – space hardware has to work on the first try. Planning must be precise, but flexible enough to adapt.

If you enjoy solving technical puzzles, keeping things on track despite uncertainty, and seeing real results, this is your kind of challenge.

Who are we looking for?

  • You have experience leading engineering projects in a project management role — responsible for the end-to-end delivery, budget, and timelines.

  • You can manage technically demanding, complex projects even if you're not a technical expert.

  • You have strong English skills — you'll use them every day.

  • You're systematic, detail-oriented, and able to keep things under control.

  • You're brave enough to jump into the unknown and learn on the go.

  • You want to work in Brno, because close team collaboration is key for us.
