About Elwave

Elwave is the world's first and only company to develop next-generation detection systems based on electromagnetic "electric sense" technology. Inspired by electric fish perception, Elwave develops detection, imaging, and characterization systems for underwater and industrial robotics.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced JavaScript Software Developer - UI with 5+ years in rich UI development to join our software team in Carquefou (Nantes).

What You'll Do

• Develop configuration and control UIs for Elwave systems (communication with embedded systems, data processing and display)

• Develop UIs for internal tools (test benches, production configurators)

• Manage configuration data and handle evolution processing

• Conduct laboratory and sea tests of systems

• Write technical documentation (specifications, tests, etc.)

• Write user manuals

Requirements

• Required: Master's degree (Engineering school or University) in Computer Science

• 5+ years of experience in rich UI development

• Mastery of JavaScript and TypeScript

• Mastery of HTML and CSS

• Mastery of SQL

• Rich graphical interface development

• Modern development practices (CI/CD, code reviews, unit tests, integration tests, end-to-end tests)

• Performance optimization experience

• Professional English proficiency (required)
