2. The role
As an (Embedded) Software Development Engineer, you help shape the brains of these systems by developing software that makes our drones smarter, safer, and more capable in real-world scenarios.

3. Key tasks and responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain embedded and high-level software in C++, Python, and Rust for UAV platforms
-
Develop and integrate embedded flight control and mission software using PX4 and ArduPilot
-
Implement and maintain communication interfaces and protocols, including MAVLink, for real-time UAV systems
-
Develop software for embedded and companion computing platforms (e.g. microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson)
-
Ensure software robustness, product stability, and reliability across all operational modes
-
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and build systems to support scalable development
-
Manage software versioning, revision control, and configuration using Git-based workflows
-
Support certification activities through structured development processes, documentation, and traceability
-
Collaborate closely with systems, hardware, and test teams to support large-scale production and long-term maintainability.
4. What you bring
-
A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

5β7 years of experience as a software engineer or developer, ideally in aerospace, robotics, or embedded systems.

Hands-on experience with C++, Python, Go, or similar programming languages.
-
A strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
-
Experience with debugging tools, testing methodologies, and automation.
-
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
-
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
