
Embedded Software Engineer – Critical Systems

The Role
We are seeking a mid- to senior-level Embedded Software Engineer to develop critical flight software for satellite subsystems while maintaining high-assurance standards while embracing a New Space approach.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the complete software development lifecycle for in-house subsystem equipment
-
Manage requirements, verification, validation, and product assurance phases
-
Partner with hardware, testing, and systems engineering teams on HW/SW integration
-
Support on-orbit flight operations
Requirements
-
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
-
Critical systems experience (space, robotics, avionics, medical, railways)
-
Knowledge of certification standards: ECSS, DO-178C, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, EN 50128
-
Proficiency in C and Python with git version control
-
Unit test framework experience (Unity/Ceedling)
-
MCU architecture understanding (ARM Cortex-M, R architectures)
-
Hands-on debugging capabilities with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
-
Embedded protocols: SPI, UART, CAN
-
GitLab and CI/CD pipeline experience
-
Excellent communication skills in professional English

RTOS and middleware experience
