The Role

Design and refine airframes, launchers, and components for kinetic interceptor drones. The ideal candidate combines CAD expertise with hands-on prototyping experience and can navigate the complete development cycle from initial concepts through flight validation.

What You'll Do

• Structural design for high-speed UAVs with emphasis on load optimization

• Finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics validation

• Rapid design iteration based on testing feedback

• CAD modeling using industry-standard software

• Engineering documentation and aerospace standards compliance

• Full-cycle prototyping from sketches to functional testing

• Material selection for aerospace applications

• Additive and subtractive manufacturing processes

• Cross-functional collaboration with aerodynamics and avionics teams

• Flight test support and field troubleshooting

Requirements

• Required: BSc in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (MSc preferred)

• Proficiency in major CAD tools (SolidWorks, NX, Catia, etc.)

• Requirements traceability and systems engineering capability

• Technical drawing and specification experience

• Hands-on prototyping background

• FEA software competency

• Manufacturing process knowledge

• Low-rate production experience

• Multidisciplinary trade study abilities

• Fluent English communication

• NATO security clearance eligibility

Nice to Have

• UAV or RC aircraft design work

• Design portfolio

• PDM/PLM systems familiarity

• Aerospace/defense sector background
