The Role
The FPGA Engineer will own the design and implementation of the signal processing pipeline on FPGA while collaborating with hardware and embedded software teams to build wireless drone-to-base-station communications.
What You'll Do
-
Implement FPGA-based digital signal processing blocks (FFT, FIR filters, resamplers, decimators)
-
Design modem algorithms including BPSK, QPSK, QAM, FSK, and OFDM modulation schemes
-
Develop forward error correction pipelines (LDPC, Turbo codes) with low-latency performance
-
Create digital front-end processing systems (DUC/DDC, frequency translation, AGC)
-
Ensure deterministic latency and synchronization with RF transceivers
-
Build test benches for DSP and RF chain validation
-
Drive complete FPGA lifecycle from prototype through production
Requirements
-
Required: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
-
2–5 years FPGA development experience (VHDL, Verilog)
-
Strong digital signal processing foundation
-
Proven FPGA system validation experience
-
Autonomous problem-solving and technical communication skills
-
