The Role

We are seeking a UAS Safety Pilot for our Toulouse office. The Safety Pilot plays a vital role in mission delivery by overseeing flight operations, reducing hazards, executing real-time responses, and maintaining regulatory compliance. This position requires frequent travel to UK, Portugal, US, and European customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the RPIC in delivering safe, compliant UAS operations

• Verify operations align with regulations; document flights, incidents, and safety reviews

• Enforce company safety protocols and industry best practices

• Assist operators with flight planning, pre-flight checks, and debriefings

• Deliver emergency guidance during system failures or hazards

• Coach UAS operators on risk mitigation and best practices

• Maintain personal proficiency on TEKEVER platforms

Essential Requirements

• C2-level English fluency

• Aviation background with ground school and aircraft experience

• MET and airspace understanding

• A1 and A3 certificates (EASA/CAA)

• Strong mathematics and physics foundation

• Pilot license (LAPL/PPL/HPL, etc.)

• A2 Certificate of Competence

• Engineering license

• Flight radiotelephony license

Preferred Qualifications

• Portuguese, Spanish, or French language skills

• MALE/HALE platform certification (H900/H450/WK/MQ)

• MUAS certification (Puma/DH3/Raven/Stalker)

• MUAS/MALE flying experience

• Military flying background

• Instructional or overseas operational experience
