The Role

This is a leadership position where the director will be instrumental in advancing drone technology while remaining hands-on with algorithm development and optimization.

What You'll Do

• Drive and establish the perception strategy and development roadmap with timely milestone delivery

• Lead a team of computer vision and sensor fusion specialists, fostering high performance

• Design algorithms and architectures for drone applications including object detection and real-time tracking

• Stay current with advancements in computer vision, particularly aerial and C-UAS applications

• Conduct code reviews and promote documentation best practices

Requirements

• Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field (PhD preferred)

• Proven experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent)

• Expertise with CNNs, object detectors, and tracking systems

• Strong proficiency in Python and C++

• Experience with OpenCV or similar computer vision libraries

• Leadership experience in fast-paced environments (preferred)

• Hands-on attitude and strong sense of ownership

• Systematic problem-solving approach with thorough documentation

• Team-oriented collaborative mindset
