Alpine Eagle is a machine learning and robotics company focused on counter-drone technology, developing airborne, swarm-based systems for protection against drone threats.
The Role
This is a leadership position where the director will be instrumental in advancing drone technology while remaining hands-on with algorithm development and optimization.
What You'll Do

Drive and establish the perception strategy and development roadmap with timely milestone delivery

Lead a team of computer vision and sensor fusion specialists, fostering high performance
-
Design algorithms and architectures for drone applications including object detection and real-time tracking
-
Stay current with advancements in computer vision, particularly aerial and C-UAS applications
-
Conduct code reviews and promote documentation best practices
Requirements
-
Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field (PhD preferred)
-
Proven experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent)
-
Expertise with CNNs, object detectors, and tracking systems
-
Strong proficiency in Python and C++
-
Experience with OpenCV or similar computer vision libraries
-
Leadership experience in fast-paced environments (preferred)
-
Hands-on attitude and strong sense of ownership

Systematic problem-solving approach with thorough documentation
-
Team-oriented collaborative mindset
