The Role
Design and develop innovative aircraft for fixed-wing and rotary-wing platforms. Lead structural and aerodynamic design of airframes.
What You'll Do
-
Design and develop innovative aircraft for fixed-wing and rotary-wing platforms
-
Lead structural and aerodynamic design of airframes considering weight and manufacturability
-
Integrate mechanical/electrical systems including avionics, motors, and sensors
-
Collaborate with software and hardware engineers on system compatibility
-
Conduct ground and flight testing to validate airframe performance
Requirements
-
Required: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
-
Proven aircraft/UAV design experience, preferably with PX4-based flight stacks
-
Strong knowledge of structural analysis, aerodynamics, and simulation tools
-
Hands-on CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, CATIA) and 3D printing experience
-
Avionics integration and electrical wiring experience
Nice to Have
- RC aircraft modeling/flying background
