
Senior Software Development Engineer
Job Description
Switzerland | hybrid
Main responsibilities:

Develop embedded software for certified avionic systems on trainer and business aircraft
-
Rus tests and simulations on host development environment and software verification rigs
-
Perform code reviews and analysis
-
Support software design activities including requirement definition and reviews
-
Prepare software documentation compliant with DO-178 standards
Required qualifications and experience:
-
Proficient in C and/or ADA programming languages, software architecture, and design methodologies
-
Experience with communication protocols such as ARINC 429, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, and/or RS232/422/485
-
Exposure to VxWorks/LynxOS real time operating systems, iData graphics library, LDRA and RapiCover testing and analysis tools desired
-
Knowledge of version control (Git), workflow management (JIRA), and requirement management tools (DOORS) is desirable
-
Fluent English (C1) skills required, German and Spanish are a plus
-
Strong self-management skills with a positive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
