Advai is a start-up working in the cutting edge field of AI Robustness, Fairness and Stress testing. We are a growing team that works closely to solve new research challenges and promote these solutions to production to make this new technology scalable and accessible.

This role will consist of managing the Advai cloud and DevOps environment, and being able to maintain, build and monitor resources and pipelines. Initially in AWS but there is also scope for working in Azure in the future. Candidates should be familiar with

GitHub, AWS CDK and be able to manage the complete CI/CD lifecycle including testing. Ideally candidates will be able to demonstrate a consistent approach, and strong problem solving with the ability to take wide ranging requirements and identify how to break them down into actionable tasks.

Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM methodologies is desired to link in with development teams, and The role has the opportunity for expansion in the future, allowing for growth of the team, but also potential for expanding skills into supporting additional services that are designed along with the Advai platform and emerging research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines

• Manage AWS cloud resources

• Monitor AWS infrastructure

• Capture and transform requirements from research/development team and clients

• Integrate new code into existing architecture

• Deploy code using containerisation and CI/CD pipelines

• Write tests for validating functionality

• Document all functionality and processes that have been created

Required Qualifications:

• University Degree

• 2 years+ experience of Cloud or DevOps

• Familiarity working with AWS

• Working with end-users to understand workflows, requirements, and feature requests

• Critical thinking & structured problem solving

• Debugging complex, multi-service applications
