
Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager
Job Description
Madrid, Spain | hybrid
Main responsibilities:

Leading technical discussions within the commercial phase with different stakeholders of the project (e.g. Authorities, Suppliers, Clients, etc.).
-
Ensure systems and equipment are reliable, maintainable, safe, and available when required.
-
Manage ILS engineering business unit.
-
Supervise projects, ensuring objectives are met within time, cost, and quality constraints.
-
Apply knowledge of defense regulations and standards such as STANAG, MIL-STD, and DEF-STAN.
-
Possess technical knowledge in electronics, mechanics, and telecommunications of defense systems.
-
Perform reliability and maintainability analyses, including RAM, T&S and LCC.
-
Create manuals, provide training, and technical support.
-
Develop strategies to optimize support costs throughout the system lifecycle.
-
Manage maintenance actions in service, lead technicians, and ensure customer satisfaction.
-
Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills.
Required qualifications and experience:
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Aeronautical, Industrial, Electronics, or Telecommunications), Physics, or Mathematics.
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering projects. Proficiency with ILS management programs.
-
Experience in design, development, and configuration management of complex systems.
-
Advanced English proficiency, both technical and for communication with international authorities and clients.
-
Knowledge of German and defense sector experience are advantageous.
