The Role

As a GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Control) Engineer on the UAV team, you'll develop advanced flight control solutions, progressing from simulation through embedded systems to live flight testing.

What You'll Do

• Develop navigation and sensor fusion algorithms for unmanned aerial vehicles

• Design and implement flight control systems with filtering and estimation strategies

• Conduct simulations including Monte Carlo, SITL, and HITL testing

• Analyze flight test data to refine system performance

• Integrate GNSS, INS/IMU, and localization technologies

• Maintain flight computer systems across multiple UAV platforms

Requirements

• Required: Engineering degree or master's in computer science/engineering

• 3+ years aerospace GNC systems experience

• Strong control theory and sensor integration knowledge

• Proficiency in Python and embedded C/C++

• Experience with Gazebo simulation and Git version control

• Familiarity with open-source autopilots (PX4, Ardupilot, Betaflight)

• Hands-on electronics skills: debugging, soldering, harnessing

• FPV pilot hobby experience
