The Role

Senior Systems Engineer guiding satellite missions from concept through in-orbit operations, managing interfaces and ensuring technical consistency across all subsystems.

What You Will Do

• Plan technical activities including schedules and budgeting

• Execute systems engineering functions: functional analysis, concept of operations, and requirements management

• Manage risk mitigation and opportunity planning

• Oversee subsystem and software design with interface control

• Lead technical assessments and trade-off studies

• Maintain engineering documentation and system baselines

• Coordinate validation and development planning

• Support assembly, integration, test phases and launch operations

• Advance the company's systems engineering processes

Requirements

• Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related field

• 10+ years in the spacecraft industry

• Demonstrated ability in requirements decomposition and spacecraft error budgeting

• Knowledge of complete space program lifecycle from proposal through delivery

• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams

• Strong organizational skills managing multiple critical workstreams

Nice to Have

• Expertise in spacecraft design, avionics, power systems, propulsion, or thermal analysis

• Background with LEO, MEO, or GEO spacecraft systems

• Customer interaction experience with institutional or commercial entities
