ClearSpace is pioneering sustainable space operations through active debris removal missions, developing spacecraft capable of capturing and deorbiting space debris.
The Role
Senior Electronics Engineer supporting rapid spacecraft delivery as a key member of the Electrical Systems Team, with focus on electronics for robotics development.
What You Will Do
-
Support all phases of the electrical subsystem lifecycle from conceptual phase until testing and validation
-
Define subsystem aspects including power/data interfaces and sensor architectures
-
Manage requirements engineering and equipment specifications
-
Support supplier selection and hardware management
-
Develop in-house electronics boards and harness definitions
-
Conduct commissioning, validation, and functional testing
-
Serve as technical contact for electrical subsystem stakeholders
-
Advise on grounding, EMC, power, and charging concerns
Requirements
-
Required: 5+ years avionics engineering experience in space industry
-
Analogue and digital electronics design expertise for robotics/motor control
-
Electrical equipment specification and testing knowledge
-
Communication bus familiarity (CAN, SpaceWire, Ethernet)
Nice to Have
-
BSc/MSc in engineering with aerospace focus
-
Space-qualified electronic board design experience
-
Spacecraft power systems and flight software knowledge
-
Embedded software development capability
-
EMC/EMI/ESD design experience
-
ECSS/MIL standards expertise
Location
Full-time role in Luxembourg.
