About Kreios Space
Kreios Space develops revolutionary air-breathing electric propulsion systems for Very Low Earth Orbits (150-300 km altitude), eliminating onboard fuel requirements while enabling advanced Earth observation and communication services.
The Role
The Electrical Engineer will focus on designing electrical systems for space propulsion applications, managing power generation, energy storage, and power electronics components.
What You Will Do

Create power generation and distribution architectures including solar panels and protection systems

Manage energy storage through battery selection and autonomous operation calculations

Develop power electronics components like DC-DC converters
-
Integrate electrical systems with propulsion units under operational conditions

Validate RF and telecommunications compatibility

Build and test prototypes in laboratory settings
Requirements
-
Electrical or Electronic Engineering degree
-
Minimum 4 years in electrical design within aerospace, automotive, or energy sectors

Expertise in power generation/storage systems
-
Knowledge of power electronics and DC-DC converters
-
Understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
-
Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers
