About Kreios Space
Kreios Space develops revolutionary air-breathing electric propulsion systems for Very Low Earth Orbits (150-300 km altitude), eliminating onboard fuel requirements while enabling advanced Earth observation and communication services.
The Role
The Mechanical & Thermal Engineer will design mechanical components for thrusters and satellite systems, perform thermal and structural analyses using FEM methods, and optimize designs for weight and manufacturability.
What You Will Do

Design mechanical components for thrusters and satellite systems

Perform thermal and structural analyses using FEM methods

Optimize designs for weight and manufacturability

Prepare technical documentation

Support system integration

Validate designs during testing phases
Requirements
-
Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering
-
3+ years in CAD design and thermal/structural analysis within aerospace or comparable sectors
-
Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar)
-
FEM simulation and thermal analysis capabilities
-
Materials and manufacturing process knowledge
-
Understanding of space environment design standards
