Do you thrive on solving complex technical challenges and helping customers succeed with mission‑critical space systems? As our new Sales Support Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping successful missions – from the first sales call to in‑orbit operations.
Your Role As a Sales Support Engineer, you will be the technical bridge between GomSpace's sales team and customers. You'll provide technical expertise during the sales process, support proposal development, and ensure a smooth handoff to program execution. You'll work on exciting, complex space missions across multiple market segments.
About the team You'll be part of GomSpace's Sales and Marketing organization, working closely with the commercial and government sales teams, as well as engineering teams across the company.
Your Tasks

Provide technical support during sales activities (proposals, presentations, customer meetings).

Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for customer missions.

Develop technical proposals and system specifications for customers.

Support pre‑sales activities including customer presentations and demonstrations.

Coordinate between sales and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are understood.

Prepare technical documentation and white papers.

Support proposal evaluation and customer selection of solutions.

Build relationships with key customers and understand their technical needs.

Contribute to the development of sales collateral and technical materials.
What You Bring
-
3+ years of technical experience in engineering, systems analysis, or related fields.

Strong understanding of spacecraft systems and satellite applications.

Excellent communication and presentation skills – ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
-
Experience with proposals, business development, or customer‑facing technical roles is a plus.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Proficiency in English.
Nice to have

Experience with satellite or spacecraft systems.

Knowledge of space market segments (earth observation, communications, government).

Experience with sales processes and proposal development.

Background in aerospace or space engineering.
