Defence Jobs in Italy

Companies hiring include D-Orbit (space logistics and satellite deployment, near Como), Ecosmic (space traffic management software, Turin) and AIKO (autonomous spacecraft operations software, Turin). Hardware, operations and software roles are roughly equal in share.

Italian is generally the working language, though space-focused companies with international teams often operate in English. EU and EEA citizens can work freely. Non-EU nationals typically need an employer-sponsored work permit (nulla osta). Italy's DIS (Department of Information for Security) manages clearances for classified defence work.
