Are you a strategic leader with deep expertise in offsets and defense procurement? Do you want to shape GomSpace's role as a trusted partner for defense primes and governments worldwide?
Your Role As our Offset Business Development Director, you will lead the development and execution of offset strategies for GomSpace in the global defense market. You will identify opportunities, negotiate complex offset arrangements, and build relationships with defense customers and prime contractors.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a new business initiative for a fast‑growing space technology company.
About the role Offsets are complex, long‑cycle business arrangements that are critical to securing defense contracts in many countries. As Offset Business Development Director, you will:

Develop and execute GomSpace's offset strategy for defense customers.

Identify and pursue offset opportunities and partnerships.

Build and maintain relationships with defense primes and government customers.

Negotiate offset agreements and manage offset execution.

Support proposal development for offset‑heavy opportunities.

Work with internal teams to structure offset solutions.

Monitor offset market trends and competitive landscape.

Report on offset business performance and pipeline.
What You Bring

10+ years of experience in defense business development, procurement, or offsets.

Deep understanding of defense procurement processes and offset mechanisms.

Proven track record in negotiating complex business arrangements.

Strong relationships within the defense industry (primes, governments, integrators).

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to operate at senior levels with customers and strategic partners.

Strategic thinking and business acumen.

Proficiency in English.
Nice to have

Experience in the space or aerospace industry.

Knowledge of European defense markets and procurement.

Experience with Government contracts and ITAR regulations.

Understanding of satellite or space systems.
