The Role

Lead manufacturing operations for propulsion systems in Copenhagen, overseeing diverse teams including additive manufacturing, precision manufacturing, welding, and assembly-integration-test operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end propulsion component production aligned with business schedules

• Drive process optimization using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

• Collaborate across design, logistics, and test departments for manufacturability

• Manage facility requirements and equipment installation/maintenance

• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, ECSS, and health & safety standards

• Build and develop high-performing production teams

Requirements

• Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field

• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or production leadership roles

• Additive Manufacturing and precision manufacturing experience preferred

• Background developing in-house workshop production processes

• Knowledge of contamination control and precision fluid system assembly

• Experience with non-destructive testing, pressure testing, and propulsion hardware qualification

• Fluent English proficiency

Nice to Have

• First-time production setup or manufacturing scale-up experience

• Familiarity with hot fire tests, cryogenic systems, high-pressure plumbing

• Expertise in metal machining materials (nickel alloys, aluminum, copper-chromium-zirconium)
