Research Project Manager for Information Security Research Institute

Cybernetica is looking for a Research Project Manager to join our growing Information Security Research Institute. The institute carries out research-heavy projects that are funded by Horizon Europe, the European Space Agency and the European Defense Fund as well as Estonian funding agencies.

Your main goal as a Research Project Manager will be to ensure smooth and systematic planning and management of research projects from start to end.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Planning and leading research projects, incl. international projects

• Ensuring regular progress of the project and deliveries according to the agreed schedule

• Writing documentation and writing reports

• Leading the project team

• Planning and managing expectations and changes in an ongoing project

• Managing the relationship with the customer, including technical and business stakeholders

• Participating in proposal writing and sales process

As a successful candidate, you must have:

• At least 2 years of experience in leading software development projects

• Experience with international projects

• High level of responsibility and systematic approach to your work

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

• Excellent command of English and Estonian in speaking and writing
