The Role
Join the High Altitude Pseudosatellite (HAPS) team developing unmanned stratospheric aircraft. You will help build avionics components for the aircraft with field testing opportunities. This is a small, dedicated team facing an exciting challenge.
What You'll Do

Design mixed-signal and power electronics for aircraft systems

Develop high-energy density power solutions

Test prototypes at board and system levels

Collaborate across engineering disciplines throughout development phases

Document designs, specifications, and testing outcomes
-
Support flight test operations as needed

Development of novel mixed-signal and power electronics for aircraft

Development of high energy density power systems
Requirements
-
Minimum 2+ years electronics engineering experience
-
Board-level design expertise including schematics, PCB layout, and simulations
-
Electronic system prototyping skills
-
Soldering and PCB rework capabilities
-
Laboratory equipment proficiency and measurement techniques
-
Problem-solving abilities with root-cause analysis competency
-
Python programming knowledge
-
Professional English communication skills
Nice to Have
-
Expertise in electromechanical circuits, instrumentation, battery systems, or power distribution

Altium Designer experience
-
Aircraft prototyping/manufacturing background
-
Harness design knowledge
-
Mechanical CAD tool familiarity
