Role Summary

Reporting to the Lead Electrical Engineer, you will design, develop, and validate electronics for ICEYE's SAR satellites. This is a permanent role where you'll apply your hardware design expertise to create robust, efficient electronic solutions. You'll work across the full development lifecycle, from concept and specification through design, simulation, prototyping, and testing. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and mission requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronics (power systems, control electronics, signal processing circuits)

• Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts

• Perform electrical analysis and simulations

• Develop technical specifications and design documentation

• Support prototype development and breadboarding

• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with specifications

• Participate in testing and validation activities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

• Collaborate with mechanical and software teams

What We Are Looking For

You will have:

• At least 5 years of experience in electronics design and development

• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design

• Experience with PCB design and layout

• Proficiency with ECAD tools (Altium, Cadence, or similar)

• Understanding of power systems and power management

• Experience with real-time systems or embedded electronics is a plus

• Knowledge of space standards and radiation hardening is a plus

• Experience in aerospace or defense applications is highly valued

• A proactive mindset and a commitment to contributing to our mission
