The Role

KNL seeks a practical electronics technician for our product development team. You will assemble, measure, and test electronic equipment while creating production documentation and participating in device troubleshooting and repairs.

What You'll Do

• Support product development, including prototype assembly, modifications, and documentation

• Troubleshoot and repair devices (component-level analysis and device-level diagnostics)

• Perform measurements and testing using standard equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, RF measurement tools)

• Participate in development work with feedback on product assemblability and serviceability

• Provide production support and create/update work instructions

Requirements

• Required: Relevant technical education (electronics or electrical trades qualification) or equivalent hands-on experience

• Practical experience assembling and testing electronic devices; familiarity with measurement tools

• Ability to read schematic and assembly diagrams (basic level minimum) with strong documentation skills

• Meticulous, systematic, and safety-conscious work approach

• Capacity to work independently and as part of a development team

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in Finnish and English

Nice to Have

• Production or service instruction documentation experience

• Electronics repair work (field returns, warranty repairs)

• Soldering experience (hand soldering, SMD)
