Electronics Test Engineer
Location: Remote (flexible based in either Finland or Austria)

As an Electronics Test Engineer, you will ensure the reliability and performance of ICEYE's cutting-edge satellite technology. You'll develop and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures that validate critical electronics systems. Your work will directly contribute to the success of ICEYE's world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite constellation, ensuring that these systems deliver space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities that enable governments and allied nations to detect and respond to critical changes anywhere on Earth with unprecedented speed and accuracy.

The Role
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and procedures for electronics systems. Key responsibilities include:

Develop and document test plans and procedures

Perform electronics testing including functional, thermal vacuum, vibration, and EMC testing

Operate and troubleshoot test equipment

Analyze test data and generate detailed test reports

Identify and resolve electronics issues through troubleshooting

Support design validation and verification activities

Interface with design, manufacturing, and quality teams

Contribute to technical documentation and process improvements

Participate in supplier management and part qualification activities
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience

2+ years of professional experience in electronics testing

Strong understanding of test methodologies and best practices

Proficiency with test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.)

Experience with thermal vacuum, vibration, or EMC testing is beneficial
-
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively across teams

Fluency in English

Working knowledge of applicable standards (e.g., IEC 61508) is beneficial

Experience with FPGA design and/or embedded systems is a plus
