Why this role matters:
As an Engineering Operations Manager, you will lead the operations and support functions that enable ICEYE's engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge space technology. You'll oversee processes, systems, and teams that ensure engineering excellence and operational efficiency across the organization. Your leadership will directly contribute to the success of ICEYE's world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite constellation and the space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities it provides to governments and allied nations.

ICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. This includes sovereign and turnkey ISR missions leveraging ICEYE's world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology, as well as access to data from the world's largest SAR satellite constellation. These capabilities enable partners to detect and respond to critical changes anywhere on Earth with unprecedented speed and accuracy, day or night and in any weather, supported by ultra high-resolution imagery and high-frequency revisits.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing engineering operations and support functions. Key responsibilities include:

Lead and manage engineering operations teams and processes

Oversee planning, scheduling, and resource management

Implement and maintain operational systems and tools
-
Ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards

Drive process improvements and operational efficiency

Interface with engineering teams and leadership
-
Support project management and coordination
-
Manage vendor/supplier relationships for operational needs
-
Contribute to the development of operational policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

5+ years of professional experience in engineering operations or related field

Proven track record in managing operational processes and teams

Strong understanding of engineering workflows and project management

Experience with operational systems and tools is beneficial

Experience in high-reliability industries (preferably aerospace/space) is beneficial

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively across teams

Fluency in English

Working knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is beneficial
