The Role
Join the Fleet Control & Communications team to manage and interface with ground station providers. This role involves interfacing with ground station service providers and local antenna installations, maintaining configuration for stations and their availability, and working with pass and post-pass metrics. Understanding of satellite communications, propagation of radio waves, and modulations will help you get going faster.
What You'll Do

Design and operate scalable production services with database integration and REST APIs

Implement high-volume, low-latency systems

Manage ground station provider interfaces

Maintain station configuration and availability data

Interface with pass performance metrics
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
-
3+ years software engineering experience
-
Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages
-
Data structure and REST API implementation expertise
-
Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipeline, and GitOps experience
-
Problem-solving abilities with emerging technologies
-
Keen interest and pragmatic experience in using AI/LLM tools for development support

Fluent English communication skills
Nice to Have

Satellite communications and RF propagation knowledge

Ground station vendor experience
-
Kubernetes and DevOps tool expertise

Compensation
Base salary range: €5,000-7,000 per month (gross), contingent on experience level.
Location
Hybrid role in Espoo, Finland (max 2 days per week remote).
