About Quandela

Quandela is a French deep-tech company founded in 2017 that designs photonic quantum computers and makes them available to European academic and industrial research.

We are developing the entire technology chain, from the design of photonic quantum computers, to the software bricks that accompany them — in particular Perceval, our open-source simulation library, and Merlin, our algorithm execution platform — as well as the infrastructure necessary to operate these systems in real computing environments.

As part of the EuroQCS-France program (GENCI & CEA), Quandela provides the European scientific community with photonic quantum machines connected to HPC supercomputers. In 2025, our latest generation photonic quantum computer, Lucy (12 qubits), was deployed at TGCC CEA, directly coupled to the Joliot-Curie supercomputer.

The Context

As Quandela scales its European operations, demand for pre-sales technical expertise is increasing. We need technical resources who can work closely with prospects and partners to understand their computational challenges and develop tailored solutions combining HPC and quantum computing.

The Role

As an HPC & Quantum Solutions Architect, you will:

• Engage with enterprise and research clients to understand their computational needs

• Develop customized solution proposals combining HPC and quantum computing

• Conduct technical presentations and demos to prospects and partners

• Collaborate with the sales team to close deals

• Work with the product and engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility

• Prepare technical documentation and ROI analyses

• Identify and nurture long-term partnerships and strategic accounts

What We're Looking For

Experience & Background:

• 5+ years of experience in HPC, cloud computing, or technical sales/pre-sales

• Strong understanding of quantum computing fundamentals

• Proven experience in enterprise sales environments (B2B preferred)

• Track record of building technical solutions and closing enterprise deals

Technical Skills:

• Deep knowledge of HPC infrastructure and architectures

• Strong understanding of quantum computing use cases and algorithms

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

• Proficiency in technical documentation and presentation tools

• Basic proficiency in Python or C++ (for demonstrations)

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills (presentation, negotiation, and storytelling)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Self-motivated and proactive

• Fluency in English and French is strongly preferred
