AIT Engineer - Mechanical, Thermal, and Electrical Integration [F/M]

Exotrail is a leading space technology company developing the SpaceVan™ spacecraft for in-orbit services and satellite missions.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced AIT Engineer to lead spacecraft assembly, integration, and environmental testing. This role requires expertise in mechanical, thermal, and electrical integration for aerospace or satellite systems.
What You'll Do

Plan integration activities and coordinate cross-functional teams

Provide technical oversight of structural, thermal, and electrical component integration
-
Conduct assembly and quality control across mechanical, thermal, and electrical domains
-
Prepare and execute environmental tests (vibration, thermal vacuum)
-
Perform component inspection and verification
-
Manage environmental testing campaigns
-
Design and develop MGSE (Mechanical Ground Support Equipment)
-
Maintain and troubleshoot GSE/EGSE
-
Supervise cleanroom, ESD, and HSE protocols
-
Manage configuration and ensure compliance
-
Resolve NCRs and provide technical support
Requirements
-
Required: 5+ years spacecraft AIT engineering experience
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in aerospace, mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering
-
CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Catia)
-
Environmental testing standards knowledge
-
IVVQ process familiarity
-
Contamination control and cleanroom expertise
-
ESD protocol knowledge
-
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
-
Professional English proficiency
Nice to Have
-
French language proficiency
-
Experience with space-qualified hardware
-
Knowledge of ECSS standards
