The Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of System Performance to lead our technical teams in systems engineering, integration, and validation. This is a senior leadership position requiring 10+ years of industry experience in systems engineering or propulsion.

What You'll Do

• Recruit, onboard, and develop technical teams in System, Test, Software & Electronics Engineering

• Define role descriptions, set SMART objectives, and conduct performance evaluations

• Establish robust systems engineering processes and requirements management frameworks

• Oversee system integration and validation from design through orbital operations

• Ensure compliance with space standards (ECSS, MIL-STD, ISO)

• Manage quality, costs, timelines, and risks for technical deliverables

• Drive cross-functional alignment between R&D, Production, and Product Management

• Lead transformation initiatives as change management projects

Requirements

• Required: Engineering degree (Master's level) or Doctorate in aerospace, mechanical, electronics, or related fields

• 10+ years in industry with proven expertise in systems engineering or propulsion

• Extensive requirements and interface management in aerospace/defense/medical sectors

• Systems integration and validation team leadership experience

• Complex project management with schedule, cost, and quality control

• Regulatory compliance and quality assurance expertise

• Recognized leadership with ability to motivate multidisciplinary technical teams

• Professional English proficiency

Nice to Have

• Space sector experience

• Space propulsion systems knowledge (electric/chemical)

• Change management methodologies (PDCA, DMAIC)

• Project management or team management certification
