Exotrail develops in-orbit servicing vehicles called SpaceVan for satellite missions, pushing the boundaries of space technology.

The Role

We are seeking a Master's student for a 6-month full-stack developer internship (starting January–March 2026) to create tools supporting Software Verification & Validation activities.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop a GUI application (desktop or web) for engineers to monitor equipment health

• Build control systems for power management and configuration across multiple missions

• Create a logging system for bench events and messages

• Support existing validation tool improvements

• Optimize internal tooling and processes

• Ensure traceability and quality in verification activities

Requirements

• Required: Master's degree (Bac+4 or Bac+5) in computer science or software engineering

• Full-stack development experience (frontend + backend)

• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript

• Experience with GUI frameworks or web technologies (Qt, React, Vue, FastAPI, Node.js)

• Basic knowledge of communication protocols (UART, CAN, RS-485)

• Proactive, curious, and team-oriented mindset

Nice to Have

• Electronics background

• Aerospace or satellite experience

• Linux experience

• Docker and CI/CD knowledge
