Aldoria (formerly Share My Space) is a New Space startup becoming a global leader in space situational awareness, offering observations via telescope to collision risk predictions in orbit, plus economic surveillance for commercial and government satellite operators.

The Role

This internship (November 13, 2025 – May 13, 2026) in Paris evaluates performance of optical surveillance strategies for low Earth orbit monitoring to maintain accurate spatial object catalogs ensuring operational safety.

What You'll Do

• Conduct literature review of optical monitoring strategies

• Master network simulation tools and spatial mechanics libraries

• Assess observation strategy performance

• Propose improvements for potential operational deployment

• Test acquisition strategies inspired by scientific literature using synthetic data and R&D observation station equipment

Goal: enhance optical surveillance performance for autonomous catalog construction and maintenance.

Requirements

• Required: Python or Java experience

• Celestial mechanics and mathematics knowledge

• Strong French and English communication skills

• Aerospace industry background
