(Senior) Manager Partnerships (m/f/d)
Job Description
We're looking for an experienced (Senior) Manager Partnerships (m/f/d) to lead and expand our strategic alliances within the defense industry. This role requires a deep understanding of defense markets, government contracting, and cross-border collaborations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing partnerships that align with the company's growth objectives and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities

Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners to expand the organisation's strategic reach and influence

Lead the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements including NDAs and MoUs ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements
-
Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners, driving long-term value creation and ensuring the effective implementation of joint initiatives
-
Collaborate across functions including engineering, legal, operations, and finance to integrate partner capabilities into current operations and new program development

Monitor industry trends, competitive movements, and emerging technologies to inform partnership strategy and surface new collaboration opportunities

Support business development and capture teams by incorporating partnership components into defense proposals and contract bids
Requirements

At least 3+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, strategy, or a related function within the defense industry

Demonstrated success in developing, managing, and scaling impactful partnership initiatives or projects

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a strong ability to engage diverse stakeholders

Strategic mindset with a proven ability to identify and pursue high-impact business opportunities

Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, adapting quickly to evolving priorities

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA is considered a strong asset

Excellent communication skills with business fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)

Military background is a plus and valued for its domain expertise and perspective
