Senior Sales Manager, Launch Services (m/f/d)
Job Description
You will be responsible for selling Isar Aerospace’s launch services. This role involves managing customer relationships, overseeing key accounts, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth. It requires in-depth knowledge of the space industry, a strong network of industry contacts, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Your Role in Our Space Mission:

Sell launch services and develop new sales opportunities in designated regions or markets

Identify and secure new business opportunities by establishing relationships with key decision-makers and influencers

Execute winning strategies on expanding business opportunities

Utilize professional networks, business development techniques, and product knowledge to effectively market services

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, potential partners, government, business, community, and other leaders
-
Develop customer presentations and maintain up-to-date CRM
-
Manage the Execution of Proposals, Term Sheets, Launch Service Agreements (LSAs), and other documents needed to close a deal
-
Monitor relevant information sources and report on political and economic developments that influence the business climate

Assist with outreach campaigns: identifying targets, organizing and preparing meetings, presentations and monitoring follow-up actions with stakeholders

Proactively network through attending and speaking at relevant events.
Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in business, engineering, or related discipline
-
Minimum of 10 years working in strategic business planning, business development, and sales, particularly in highly technical industries such as aerospace
-
Outstanding writing skills and the ability to communicate information to multiple audiences
-
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, with excellent research and analytical skills

Ability to translate technical concepts into compelling narratives
-
Experience in managing customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and engagement

Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate a solution-driven mentality
-
Willingness to travel extensively to support closing sales opportunities
-
Fluent in English, with proficiency in other languages such as German or French being a plus

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and under tight deadlines

Recognized as an out-of-the-box operator who reaches creative solutions, yet remains pragmatic and flexible during implementation.
