Design Engineer (m/f/d) in Mechanical Design

OPTIMARE Systems GmbH has a vacancy in its software department for a full-time, permanent software engineer (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• Creating new and modified designs using CAD

• Preparing manufacturing documentation—from 3D design to final assembly and component drawings

• Preparing product-related documentation

• Providing technical support for manufacturing and aircraft retrofitting

• Creating material master data and bill of materials

• Participation in the preparation of documents for aircraft certification

• Assumption of tasks including product and customer support

Your profile:

• Completed engineering degree (Dipl. Ing./ M.Sc.) with a focus on aerospace engineering, design engineering, or mechanical engineering

• Experience in the use of 3D CAD software (Creo) and M365

• Knowledge of configuration management

• Experience in creating product-related documentation

• Design experience in the development of aviation equipment or comparable high-tech sectors

• Technical expertise: Design engineering, lightweight construction/aircraft construction, as well as experience in an EASA or EN9100 development environment

• Desirable: Training in a metalworking trade

• Good written and spoken English skills

• Soft skills: Quick learner, team-oriented, resilient, self-motivated, flexible, hands-on approach
