The Role

Lead CAD/PDM system infrastructure and automation while collaborating with engineering partners to commercialize precision instruments.

What You'll Do

• Establish and optimize CAD/PDM system infrastructure

• Identify automation opportunities and implement solutions like automated drawing generation

• Collaborate across departments and with external providers on workflow integration

• Develop modular BOM structures

• Contribute to machine development conceptual work

• Build and maintain partner networks

• Potentially lead a construction/design team

Requirements

• MSc with 5+ years industry experience OR PhD with 3+ years industry experience

• Minimum 3 years as PDM key user or administrator

• Strong problem-solving and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities

• Structured working style with ability to develop and manage modular, structured BOMs

• CAD system proficiency

• Excellent cross-team communication skills

• Leadership experience is advantageous
