Your Mission: We are building the next generation of high-performance satellites right here in Germany. Join a team with a combined experience of 50+ successful space missions and shape advanced motion control systems by bridging control, mechanical, and electronic domains for critical actuators like reaction wheels and magnetic torquers.

Develop and validate high-performance actuation systems for satellite attitude control.

Define requirements and interfaces for actuators and related subsystems.

Bridge the gap between control algorithms, mechanical design, and electronics.

Support supplier selection, procurement, and qualification of actuator components.

Collaborate with system engineering, AOCS, mechanical, and electronics teams to ensure seamless integration.

Conduct performance testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for actuator issues.

Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation and contribute to design reviews.
Your Background:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.

Proven expertise in actuation systems and mechatronic design for precision or space applications.
-
Hands-on experience with reaction wheels, electric motors, or similar actuators.
-
Experience with simulation tools like Matlab/Simulink.
-
Strong understanding of control systems, mechanical dynamics, and electronics integration.
-
Multi-Body Dynamics Simulation as a plus.
-
Experience with space mechanism testing and qualification is a plus.
-
Experience with embedded programming in C is a plus.
