Your Mission: We are building the next generation of high-performance satellites right here in Germany. Join a team with a combined experience of 40+ successful space missions and take ownership of ensuring our satellites operate flawlessly in orbit — from launch through commissioning to customer handover.

Define and manage all mission operations activities, including Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP), commissioning, and routine operations.

Coordinate and execute the handover process to customers, ensuring smooth transition to operational service.

Plan, supervise, and continuously improve satellite operations procedures and workflows.

Oversee the selection process for mission operations software suppliers, including RFI/ RFP/ RFQ preparation and supplier evaluation.

Act as main point of contact for operations-related stakeholders, customers, and suppliers.

Collaborate with engineering and system teams to ensure operational requirements are addressed during development.

Work hand in hand with the engineering and testing team for a seamless transition from testing on the ground to operation in space.

Prepare and maintain clear operations documentation, plans, and reports.
Your Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Space Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience in satellite mission operations, including LEOP and commissioning.

Solid understanding of satellite operations concepts, procedures, and software tools.

Experience in programming with Python is a plus
-
Experience managing suppliers and leading procurement processes is a plus.

Familiarity with the satellite development and handover lifecycle.
