Helsing is a defense AI company focused on protecting democracies. The role involves developing ML/AI systems that leverage state-of-the-art methods and architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop advanced AI-based capabilities for semi-autonomous platforms including localization, navigation, and real-time perception

• Create and evaluate machine learning models with emphasis on generalization and robustness against adversarial attacks

• Integrate AI solutions into production systems with testing, QA, and monitoring

Requirements:

• MSc in AI, machine learning, computer science, or related field

• Strong communication skills for presenting research findings

• Current knowledge of state-of-the-art deep learning approaches

• Software engineering expertise in Python, Rust, Java, or modern C++

• Production deployment experience

Nice-to-Have:

• PhD in relevant field with top-tier publications (CVPR, NeurIPS, ICLR, etc.)

• Edge device AI development experience

• Simulator or synthetic data generator expertise
