The Role

DevOps Engineer combining development and operations expertise to optimize the software lifecycle through automation and process improvement in Athens, Greece (with remote work flexibility).

What You'll Do

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for enhanced development efficiency

• Manage infrastructure using cloud technologies and containerization

• Implement automated infrastructure management with tools like Terraform

• Monitor and optimize production application performance

• Collaborate with development teams on DevOps adoption

• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems

• Address incidents through root cause analysis

• Prioritize security implementation and vulnerability management

• Mentor team members in DevOps practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science or related field

• 3-5 years DevOps, SRE, or equivalent experience

• Proven development and IT operations background

• Expertise with ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps

• Cloud platform proficiency (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

• Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation)

• Docker and Kubernetes competency

• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

• Monitoring tools knowledge (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)

Nice to Have

• Networking and security expertise

• Git version control experience

• Agile methodology familiarity

• Root cause analysis capability
