The Role

Senior Remote Sensing Technical Specialist to develop innovative geospatial applications, leveraging expertise in Earth observation technologies and data analysis. Office based in Marousi (Athens) with three remote work days weekly.

What You'll Do

• Apply knowledge of optical, SAR, and hyperspectral remote sensing to process and interpret geospatial datasets

• Utilize ERDAS Imagine, QGIS, and ArcGIS for geospatial data management and interpretation

• Create technical reports, publications, and project proposals for EO applications

• Work with multidisciplinary teams to execute projects successfully

• Deploy machine learning solutions using TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, and scikit-learn

• Leverage AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for EO data processing

• Engage with Data and Information Access Services for EO data sharing

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Surveying Engineering, Forestry, Environmental Science, Geography, Physical Sciences, or Geology

• Master's in Geoinformatics or Computer Vision (preferred)

• Solid knowledge of multispectral and SAR Earth observation data management

• Hands-on geospatial data processing and AI/ML/DL applications experience

• Python or other programming language proficiency for spatial data analysis

• Fluency in Greek and English

• Multitasking under deadline pressure

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Effective communication and teamwork
