We are looking for a responsible and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our distributed team. Our infrastructure is primarily hosted in AWS and built around Linux systems, containerized services, and monitoring/automation tooling. The role includes maintaining and developing cloud and on-prem network setups, supporting integrations between third-party systems, and ensuring the reliability of our services.
Responsibilities

Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure, including S3, EC2, RDS, VPCs, and Route 53, security groups, Lambdas.

Ensure availability and performance of services running on Linux servers.

Configure and maintain Nginx (reverse proxy, SSL).

Maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and metrics in Grafana.

Work with Docker and Docker Compose.

Configure and troubleshoot networking.

Implement Python scripts for small integrations, data processing, and automation between third-party systems.

Support various 3rd-party administrative systems, including Google Workspace.

Be responsible for safety of infrastructure changes.

Collaborate with a distributed international team.
Requirements

Minimum 1 year of confirmed work experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or System Administration.

Strong knowledge of AWS services: S3, EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM.

Solid experience with Linux administration.

Hands-on experience with Docker / Docker Compose, Nginx .

Experience of configuration: routing tables, subnets, firewalls, DNS.

Experience of configuration: Grafana (dashboards, alerts).

Experience using Terraform or Ansible configurations.

Experience using source control systems, like Bitbucket/Git.

Proficiency in Python for automation or integration tasks.

Fluent English as we're an international company; additional languages will be a plus - Latvian, Russian.

Technical education or senior students (Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, or similar).
Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with configuring Prometheus or similar monitoring tools behind Grafana.

Experience supporting microservice infrastructure, including serverless services.

Experience with MikroTik routers (routing, firewall, NAT, VPN).

Familiarity with additional AWS services beyond core EC2/RDS/VPC.
